Southeast Asia
March is 5-week month in Thailand so I used the extra time to side trip through Southeast Asia. I loved being able to share a little piece of what feels like home with the f(r)amily.
- Bangkok, Thailand- it had been almost 10 years since I've visited, and I was amazed at how much has changed while still preserving the beautiful history, and characteristics of old Siam. The big city vibes, and night markets contained so much energy.
- Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam- this was my 10th visit and I was very excited to spend quality time with my family who lives in Vietnam, and to see my parents who were visiting from the US. I brought along 14 friends, and we arrived just in time to celebrate the Lunar New Year in true Vietnamese & Nguyen fashion.
- Siem Reap, Cambodia- a bucket list destination for a quite some time. We spent our time working, visiting all the ancient temples including the magnificent Angkor Wat, and visiting the waterfalls at Koulen Mountain.
