Croatia | Island Hopping
Beautiful 70-degree weather and sunshine at the start of low season (see ya later tourists!)...of course, we had to take advantage of our very own backyard and make the most out of our first Sunday Funday together. Croatia is the land of 1000+ islands so Island Hopping was the logical choice. 1. Blue Cave (Modra špilja)- is a water-logged sea cave with magnificent clear blue water that is beautifully lit up from the sunshine on the sea. 2. Island of Budikovac- a quaint stop with farm animals and calm waters. Donkey & drones for the win. 3. Paklinski Island- a stop off for lunch at the Fisherman's restaurant. Tanzi, a 3rd generation fisherman set out to sea to catch fish early in the morning. He spoke no English but was kind enough to let me sit next to him as he cleaned & scaled the fish. He even let me join him in the kitchen to watch his grill over a hot wood burning oven. 4. Hvar- climbed the top of the city fortress 5. Milna- wine tasting in a 366 year old cellar
